Clutter Breakthrough Top Tip for Home Organizing

The 15 minute family rule – The 15 minute family rule gets everyone on board and invested in keeping things organized. At the beginning of the week or at dinner choose the 15 minute project for the day (maybe 2 or 3 times a week). Set the stove timer and away you go. Use this time for everyone to collect 5 things they are willing to donate to charity, clear out a junk drawer, tackle the hall closet, pull all the recyclables together and plan for drop off, sort that giant jar of coins so you can turn in the money.

I had a client who sorted coins and they were able to have a family dinner out with the money they turned in!
