Mental Clutter – Do you forget what you know???

The most powerful gift we have as human beings is that soft and smooshy mass in our skull that is the epicenter of

Paul Foreman www.mindmapinspiration.com

Is this your brain?

everything we do and say!  A small but powerful organ, the average human brain weighs about 3lbs, that’s about as much as a bag of sugar.  Did you know that if you could harness the power used by your brain, you could power a 10-watt light bulb?  Our amazing brain…

Yet, often times this magnificent mass of grey and white matter is the very thing that keeps us from creating the most amazing life possible for ourselves.  It is often our thinking that limits us in our relationships with others, in our defeating self talk, and in the way we perceive things around us.

If we have been conditioned to believe that we are not worthy of love, wealth or success we think ourselves right into the actions that support those beliefs.  If we have been conditioned to believe we are stupid or dull we will hold back our brilliance and our vibrancy to support someone else’s lie.

You are a brilliant, vibrant and remarkable human being.  At the very core of who you are you know that.  Our world has layered upon us an untruth that we are not good enough and we have allowed it.  It is time to rid yourself of the mental clutter that holds you back from the life you want to live and propel yourself into the life you deserve!

Here are 5 tips for reducing mental clutter:
1.  Affirmations – You have to begin to change the message that whispers in your head (or screams).  Write positive affirmations as if they are already true and repeat them out loud frequenty to begin your internal shift.
2.  Visualization – Create vivid pictures in your head of your goals and aspirations.  If you want to go to Australia see Australia in full color.  If you want a new client, see yourself with your new client.
3.  It’s all about the surroundings baby! -  Surround yourself with positive, brilliant and confident people.  You will be amazed at how you rise to the occasion when you are surrounded by brilliance
4.  Gratitude – Create a gratitude list and say thank you out loud for everything.  Almost every time I get in my car I say out loud, “I love my car”, mostly because…I HAVE A CAR!  I’m so grateful.  Try it!
5.  Pay it forward – Tell someone they are fabulous, applaud someone else, even if you don’t believe it for yourself yet you can believe it for someone else…start the flow of good karma.
